REBECCA KENT
Rebecca Kent is one of South London’s new generation of interior designers with experience ranging from large country house projects, town houses and period renovations to contemporary makeovers of maisonettes and apartments.
As an Interior Designer my aim is to create modern, efficient and comfortable spaces which enhance the lives of those who use them whilst respecting individual taste and personality. My objective is to help you realise the full potential of your home within your budget. Combining imagination with practical experience, I can help turn even the most difficult layout into a beautiful, harmonious space.
As a client you will be integral to the design process. Working with you will help me to create something individual and unique. My knowledge and experience will take the anxiety out of the process and help to avoid costly mistakes.

About
I studied architecture at The University of Plymouth which gave me a thorough grounding in all aspects of the principles of building, as well as the important distinction between interior design and interior decoration.
I have worked for three leading interior design companies and become immersed in the decorative aspects of design as well as the spatial layout on a wide variety of projects: London town houses, country homes, Scottish hunting lodges and the restoration of a villa in the South of France. I also have experience of working on new developments, large and small, and show homes. Consequently, I have had responsibility not only for the design aspects but for project management, submitting and overseeing planning applications, and managing budgets.
Liaising daily with building contractors, specialists in lighting, plumbing and heating, kitchen and bathroom suppliers, plus fabric and soft furnishing manufacturers and representatives, has allowed me to accumulate an invaluable and treasured ‘little black book’!
I live in Clapham but am happy to go wherever the work takes me.
